Answer coverage, sources & flagged answers

The main game has 70 categories with curated accepted lists. Country-name categories use the saved country reference. The file-extension registry is excluded from the daily rotation. Missing entries are marked unverified, not automatically wrong. New registry entries receive 65 points until individually scored.

Your daily detour

Guess the country in the photo and identify the mystery animal. Each game starts at 100 points. Every extra clue costs 15 points; every wrong guess costs 10. In the animal game, your first incorrect guess reveals one extra fact without the 15-point clue penalty. Later guesses do not reveal extra facts. You get five guesses per game. Revealing the answer scores zero.

Off the Beaten Path adds three timed categories, worth up to 300 points. Name a valid answer in 30 seconds; less familiar answers receive higher curated scores. These are editorial difficulty scores, not measured player popularity. Results are saved in this browser. This first edition has seven puzzle pairs that rotate daily. The Daily Double adds one IT and one general trivia question, worth 50 points each. Your first selection locks that question and reveals an explanation. Create a player profile in the standings section, then finish all five games to save your score automatically. The first saved result for each day is final. Shared standings require a connected service. Put It in Order is an daily game worth up to 100 points, included in the 700-point leaderboard and five-game streaks.
